Tuesday, May 11 Pau Airport – Lourdes

Upon your arrival in Lourdes transfer to your hotel. Relax or explore before dinner, followed by a candlelight procession before retiring. Dinner and overnight.

Wednesday – Thursday, May 12-13 Lourdes

This pilgrimage was designed for those who would like to spend more time in Lourdes, to pray and reflect. During your stay in Lourdes you will have time to pray with your fellow pilgrims and pilgrims from around the world, to attend Mass at the Grotto, watch a video presentation telling the story of Lourdes, and walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette. See Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born, and the "Cachot," an abandoned prison where Bernadette's impoverished family lived. Join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring or submerge yourself in the healing baths. Experience Christ's love as you walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross overlooking the holy Grotto. Kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto, in obedience to the request of the "Immaculate Conception." Evenings are free for optional Blessed Sacrament Procession before dinner. Your role in the universal church will have new meaning as you join the candlelight procession and group rosary.

Friday, May 14 Lourdes – Ars

Transfer to the airport for flights to Lyon.  Upon arrival transfer to Ars for dinner and overnight.

Saturday, May 15 Ars - Paray Le Monial – Nevers

Wake up in beautiful Ars, best known for St Jean-Marie Vianney, the patron saint of priests. He is often referred to, even in English, as the "Curé d'Ars" (the parish priest of the village of Ars). He became notable internationally for his priestly and pastoral work in his parish due to the radical spiritual transformation of the community and its surroundings, attributed to his saintly life, mortification and persevering ministry in the sacrament of confession.St. Vianney's incorrupt body is entombed above the main altar in the Basilica at Ars. The Curé of Ars had a great devotion to St. Philomena, who was believed to be a Virgin Martyr of the early Church. Jean looked at her as his guardian and erected a chapel and a shrine in honor of the saint. The shrine still stands today. In honor of “the 150th anniversary of the death of the Holy Curé d'Ars, Jean-Marie Vianney, a true example of a pastor at the service of Christ's flock”, Pope Benedict XVI made the announcement on March 16, 2009 that a Year for Priests would be celebrated. This year started on June 19, 2009, feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests, and will end on the same feast, June 11, 2010.  On to Paray-le-Monial has become a much-frequented place of pilgrimage since 1873. The most venerated spot is the Chapel of the Visitation, where most of the apparitions to Blessed Margaret Mary Alacoque took place.  A reliquary of St. Margaret containing her relics, located underneath a wax figure of the saint. Next comes the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, in charge of secular chaplains, formerly the church of the monks, which is one of the most beautiful monuments of Cluniac architecture. We will visit also the Hieron or temple-palace, erected by a layman in honour of the Eucharistic King, where there is a very curious collection of pictures and objects of art bearing on the Holy Eucharist. Dinner and overnight in Nevers

Sunday, May 16 Nevers - Mont Saint Michel

Depart from Nevers and continue on by motor coach to the stunning Mont-Saint-Michel. Upon arrival you will have free time to visit of the picturesque streets and shops before dinner and overnight in Mont Saint Michel.

Monday, May 17 Mont Saint Michel - Cancale – St. Servan - Saint Pern - Mont Saint Michel

After breakfast we will climb to the cathedral, with awe inspiring architecture, and one of Catholicism’s greatest achievements and visit the Abbey.   We depart and stop in the birthplace of Saint Jeanne Jugan, Cancale.  In the meantime, she left Cancale for the nearby town of Saint Servan. A nurse at Le Rosais Hospital, a visiting nurse, then a servant, she desired only to serve God and others, especially the poor. In 1902, the truth became evident. Jeanne Jugan, Sister Mary of the Cross, who died on oblivion a quarter of century earlier, was not the third Little Sister, as it was believed, but the first, the foundress. Her tomb, in the crypt of the chapel of the Motherhouse, in La Tour St. Joseph (Saint Pern), attracts many pilgrims, as do her birthplace in the hamlet of Les Petites Croix, in Cancale, and the foundation’s house in Saint Servan. Return to Mont Saint Michel for dinner and overnight.

Tuesday, May 18 Mont Saint Michel - Paris

Today we head to Paris. Mass at Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. View the incorrupt body of St Catherine Labouret whose guardian angel led her to the chapel where the Blessed Virgin displayed a vision of the miraculous medal and later the green scapular. The Virgin promised bountiful graces for all who wore these. Our sightseeing tour includes some of the most beautiful and important churches in the world such as Notre Dame Cathedral and Sacre Coeur, see the sights as the Eiffel Tower, L'Arc de Triomphe, and drive through the Champs Elysees. Enjoy other sights on this mostly panoramic tour.  Return to the hotel for little relaxing, dinner and overnight.Continue on to Paris for dinner and overnight.

Wednesday, May 19 Paris - Paris Airport

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
