Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary:


Day 1 | Saturday, June 10: USA - Lisbon
Depart the USA, Canada or other parts of the world, by overnight flight to Lisbon. Meals will be served on board.

Day 2 | Sunday, June 11: Arrive Lisbon – Santarem - Fatima
Upon arrival in Lisbon you will find your luggage and exit the baggage claim into the arrivals hall where you will be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver. You will be escorted to the vehicle which will then take you on a sightseeing tour of this beautiful Portuguese city. We will visit the Cathedral, St. Jerome's Monastery, Saint Anthony's Church (the patron saint of lost objects), Belem Quarter, the Belem Tower, 25 April Bridge, and Discoveries Monument. Our drive will also take us through the Basilica of the Star, Rossio Square, Commerce Square and Marquee of Pomba Square. We will then depart for Santarem, one of the oldest cities in the world. We will walk through its narrow streets to the Church of St. Stephen, containing the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle. This miracle has been on continuous display since 1269 A.D. We will celebrate Mass at this holy site. We then continue on to Fatima, where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. We arrive in time for dinner and retire for a restful evening.

Day 3 & 4 | Monday -Tuesday, June 12 -June 13: Fatima
What a blessed to be in Fatima for the 100th Anniversary of Apparitions or Our Lady to three simple shepherd children. Be present for events on the Solemnity of Our Lady of Fatima. None of us will be the same after participation in candlelight procession, blessings of the sick, Anniversary Mass, Mass at Chapel of Apparitions etc. We will also have an extensive tour of Fatima, where we will experience the beauty of Our Lady’s town. We will see the Basilica, the site of Francesco and Jacinta's graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance after the children's return from prison. Experience Christ's love as you walk and follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (The Sacred Way) culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. Join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous well. Each evening we will attend the blessing of the sick and participate in nightly candlelight processions requested by Our Lady. Some time for private devotions. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Fatima.

Day 5 | Wednesday, June 14: Fatima - Krakow
You will depart for Airport where we will board our flights to Krakow. Upon arrival in Krakow Airport you will find your luggage and exit the baggage claim into the arrivals hall where you will be greeted by your tour escort and/or driver. After a warm welcome to Poland, you will be escorted to your transportation to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 | Thursday, June 15: Krakow - Divine Mercy - Have No Fear center
Breakfast at your hotel. Following breakfast this morning, we will celebrate Mass at a local church. Then we will explore Krakow's Market Square. Start by hearing the silver trumpet of the bugler from St. Mary's Tower, and visit the church (entrance fee included) where we may pray before the extraordinary Wit Stwosz altar. The surroundings of the square have remained unchanged for almost 700 years and contain buildings of historic value such at the Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and the burgher's houses. At Wawel hill we will tour the Cathedral (entrance fee included), Coronation Chapel, where you may pray at the tomb of St Stanislaus Holy patron of Polish state. There will be time allotted for lunch on your own. Then we will depart for our day's excursion to Lagiewniki, the capital of the Divine Mercy. It was here that the message of the Divine Mercy originated, which Christ Himself wished to pass on to our generation through the mediation of St. Faustina. The Sanctuary houses image of the Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. As we view the Shrine of Divine Mercy we will see St. Faustina's convent chapel and her Tomb. We will visit the newly constructed Shrine of Divinity dedicated by Saint John Paul II on his last visit to Poland in 2002. We celebrate Mass at the Shrine before we visit the new centre "Have no Fear" where we pray by the relic of Saint John Paul II. We return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 7 | Friday, June 16: Krakow - Auschwitz - Czestochowa - Krakow
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will visit Auschwitz (entrance fee included) - subject to confirmation due to availability, the notorious Nazi concentration camp where unspeakable atrocities occurred. We will see the cell that imprisoned St. Maximillian Kolbe, and the Martyrdom Museum recalling the horrors of the Holocaust. Lunch on your own. Continue to Czestochowa (entrance fee included), the home of the Poland’s great 14th century pilgrimage Shrine Jasna Gora Monastery. It is here that the Holy icon of the Black Madonna is located. We will have time to explore the most important places of. St. John Paul II was known to make frequent visits to the monastery throughout his life. We will return to our hotel in Krakow for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 | Saturday, June 17: Kalwaria - Wadowice - Wieliczka
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we depart for Kalwaria Zebrzydowska known as Polish Jerusalem - only Calvary in the world on UNESCO list and only Marian Shrine that is dedicated to suffering of Christ and Miraculous Icon of the Blessed Mother. On to Wadowice where we visit the birth place of Saint John Paul II to include the house where he was born at now functioning as museum and local church where Saint John Paul II was baptized and had his first communion. Lunch on your own. On to Wieliczka to visit the Salt Mines (entrance fee included), which is on the list of the UNESCO sites. Thousands of feet below the service are magnificent chapels and religious sculptures carved in salt, as well as beautiful chambers, galleries and passageways. The Salt Mines were blessed by His Eminence Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz in early 2010, and is a beautiful testimony to the piousness of generations of Wieliczka miners working here. You can admire the magnificent sculptures in the chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony, with features blurred as a result of activity of the forces of nature and the relentless passage of time. The wooden Golgotha of the Wieliczka miners will delight you with its artistry and elegance. Your will be also visit the wonderful Chapel of St. Kinga, where you will find splendid altars, a carved pulpit, a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, and a salt statue of Saint John Paul II. You can spend long hour admiring the decor and the artistry works of art exhibited here. Return to Krakow and to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 | Sunday, June 18th: Krakow – Return Home
Today we will make our way to Krakow Airport for our return flight(s) home. Though we come to the end of our time of pilgrimage, we will be unpacking for the rest of our lives as our faith has been deepened and our hearts have been stirred.

About Fatima:
The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima is one of most famous Marian shrines in the world. Drawn by apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three local shepherd children in 1917. Four million people visit Fatima each year. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to shepherd children on the 13th day of six consecutive months in 1917, starting on May 13th until October 13th. The events at Fatima gained particular fame due to their elements of prophecy and eschatology, particularly with regard to possible world war and the conversion of Russia.
